tokugawa[He couldn't even really pretend that his earlier escape was anything close to elegant or smooth. That wasn't exactly something that he'd learned to manage...
But now it was after dinner and Kanetsugu had taken his leave and Ieyasu still hadn't had a chance to chat with Mitsunari- so he technically hasn't had the chance to make things right between them.
So he's found his way to Mitsunari's study, expecting him to always be there as it was, and he's come prepared just in case his shining personality wouldn't do it.
He brought tea.
So it's a ginger knock against the frame of the doorway-]
Mitsunari...? May I come in?
