He's caged and it's disgusting, that they would cage a rightful (but oh so castoff) king like this.
But there is nothing he can do about that--not yet, anyway.
Biding his time...he can call it that, but more aptly, he's simply sitting in the middle of a barren cell, cross-legged and silent.
There's not much use to a silver tongue if nobody can hear it.
And he is very much expecting that nobody would hear it...today, just as in every day.]
