[...he's bored.

And amidst his plotting, a bored Norse god is no good.

Lost as he is. Humanized as he is.

It's daytime now, and he paces, able to leave his room but temporarily alone. But he knows Tony has security measures.

He knows it. He doesn't try anything rash. But he does inspect the technology--

And then he makes faces at one of the cameras.

[Alcohol really is the best truth serum.

But Tony is surprised when Loki speaks again, glancing over curiously because alright, he's... curious. It's not every day that he gets close to leading to a former god's mental breakdown.

It's not as if Thor was nearly so intricate.

His answer comes after he drinks some more.]

You're going to have to deal with whatever's eating at you, either way. No matter where you are.

[He knows that much pretty well.]

[A faint chuckle, perhaps faintly unhinged.]

And I attempted to 'deal with it'.

[But he'll just. Have some more of his drink before he mentions how the Empire State Building had to replace all those windows.]

Except as long as you pose a threat to earth, it may be a concern of mine.

Probably not for a minute or two- or maybe the better part of the night. I'd probably have to sleep on it.

[.... but he sighs and his brain catches up his actions and he realizes he kind of just told a Norse ex-god to shut up.

So his mouth runs without his consent after he takes another drink.]

... but to clarify, I don't make the best decisions all the time. But what's it matter if it's just you and me stuck in here?

[...That draws an arched eyebrow out of him. It's okay, he's used to being told to shut his mouth.

I suppose it is of no consequence at all. At least...not at the moment.

[Well... they're the ones guiding the consequences, right?

But Tony doesn't say that. Instead he merely continues to drink.]

[A scoff and... his glass is empty.

So he lifts his glass.

And offers it in a mocking, toast-like gesture.

And then he dumps what remains of it over Tony's head, setting it down on the counter with a clink and standing to stalk away to what is his temporary quarters.

And he pulls out the remote in his pocket that controls all of the devices in the Tower-

Now setting every doorway to send out an electric shock when so much as nudged.]

[He halts right before his doorway--perhaps expecting something from Tony, or just suspicion in general from his experiences--and chuckles.]

Now we are equals.

[Perhaps he meant to say 'even'--but equals is what slipped out.]

[He'd already stashed the control away in his pocket and bent over backwards to grab a towel from the other side of the bar and is in the middle of straightening when Loki speaks-]

....

[A huff.]

No... you owe me a drink.

[But that's all he says as he now sets to wiping his face. Though this probably is not the first time he reeks of alcohol this week.]

[A carefree shrug.]

A drink? Shall I fetch you one from I know not where?

[he's not allowed to leave the building, bro.]

No no, I don't trust you to know what the good stuff is here on earth-

You just pour the glasses first next time.

[And he... really needs to dry off his arc reactor but he doesn't bother with that just yet.

He'll pretend to salvage his hair for now.]

[...ah. Well.

A shrug that is mostly noncommittal in nature and he instead focuses on the doorway--

A tentative finger and he curses inwardly at the shock.

alsmdnklas!!!]

[Yes okay, he's quite pleased.

So there's just a happy grin as he hops off the bar stool and starts heading for his own room, pulling out the remote and turning mute off so with a few beeps and boops-]

Sleep tight! Don't let the bed bugs bite!

[And he has no issue entering his own room.
