[When Ieyasu had pressed him about what sorts of things and relationships he'd experienced before meeting him, he hadn't meant for him to take 'Ask Kanetsugu!' literally.

Except Kanetsugu called him after work to tell him that Ieyasu had called to ask, and so, like a good friend, Kanetsugu had told him some juicy stories.

Mitsunari made a mental note to get back at him somehow.

But right.

....he's thinking it's approaching storytime now, as he opens the door to their apartment and sets his bag aside.]

Mitsunari, I've been attracted to you physically from the night we met- before I even realized it.

[And he leans up for a kiss.]

Don't try to blame the maid uniform just because you look good in it.

He's just left blushing, even as he presses his lips to Ieyasu's obediently.]

...Is that so...

I suppose that isn't necessarily a bad thing...

[Ieyasu gives a genuine smile at that before burying his face in the crook of Mitsunari's neck.]

I don't think it's bad at all...

You are absolutely stunning. I don't know if I ever told you but Motochika and I argued for a bit about whether or not you were a model as well-

We were convinced of Kanetsugu but for entirely different reasons.

[....P-PFFFAKMSD.

He chuckles, shaking his head.]

Well, I'm flattered then.

But why did you think Kanetsugu was, then?

Really long hair and the smug face.

But I'm proud that I, at least, knew that he was a he.

[Ieyasu, what do you think of male models-]

I still cannot imagine how you could mistake Kanetsugu for a woman...though the smug face is quite accurate!

[tokugawa]

Perhaps if Motochika had but one more eye, he would be able to see more clearly.

[a slight grin]

Oichi's hair is that long though- almost the same style, too. That was probably what did it.

[He just chuckles, nodding.]

I can see how his hair could make things confusing.

Ah...it was worth it to see his face when you all burst in.

[Mitsunari you're an awful bff]

I'm... still sorry but not. It ended up being a great decision on my part, but I still feel rather bad for interrupting anyway.

Oh, I wouldn't be sorry at all!

It was a rather dull affair before you three showed up as it was.

[A contented hum, and he leans against Ieyasu's chest.]

...Besides, it led to the best thing in my life...

[tokugawa]

[ . . . excuse him as he chuckles.]

You really are drawn to trouble, aren't you?

[He just smiles shamelessly.]

If there is no trouble around, I do tend to make some myself.

So yes, I suppose I am.

[tokugawa]

[... ffff. A bit of a laugh and he nuzzles Mitsunari's cheek gently.]

It keeps things exciting, I suppose.

[insultea]

[He's pretty content, just lightly draping his arms around Ieyasu's neck in return.]

Mm...I like it when things are exciting...

I dislike being bored.

[tokugawa]

[A slight tilt of his head.]

Have I ever bored you?

[insultea]

[And there isn't a shred of hesitation in response to that; he just contentedly nuzzles into Ieyasu's neck.]

Never.

You've been making my life exciting from the night we met.

[tokugawa]

[... ffffff. He turns his head for a kiss then.]

Good.

Because you're the light of my life now.

[insultea]

[Yes, kisses are good. He's okay with this.

Chuuuu~]

Mmm...

Besides, how could you ever think you're boring, Ieyasu?

[tokugawa]

.... I'm not exactly jumping on you every night-

[Though he could but that goes unsaid.

And so he chuckles softly.]

Nor am I exactly as dynamic or eccentric as the people you have described tonight...

[insultea]

[...snort.]

Predictability is boring as well. I'm not interested in that.

You are more than interesting enough for me, Ieyasu. [Another quiet hum and he goes back to nuzzling Ieyasu's neck quietly.] With your connections and bonds, your boxing and your bros...

And your care and your kindness and yes, your flattery and teasing as well.

[A chuckle.]

I could go on.

[tokugawa]

[.... oh. A-awwwwwww.]

... you're still cute.

[chuuuuuu~

he can totally return the favor with the flattery but he can hold off for now]

A laugh and he presses a kiss to Mitsunari's cheek before resting their foreheads together.]

... alright. You asked for it.

Perhaps not cute- but instead remarkably adorable. [a grin] But why stop there?

Mitsunari... you somehow manage to be charming and honest and witty and loyal all in the same breath. It's no wonder that you've managed to capture my heart completely that way.

I admire your workaholic tendencies because I can't deny that you have them- but your dedication is amazing. I love how much you're willing to do for other people... and it's in that way that you truly are spectacular.

[a soft kiss]

There's nothing about you that I'm not completely enamored with.

That wasn't the answer he was looking for either but now he's blushing faintly--
