[When Ieyasu had pressed him about what sorts of things and relationships he'd experienced before meeting him, he hadn't meant for him to take 'Ask Kanetsugu!' literally.

Except Kanetsugu called him after work to tell him that Ieyasu had called to ask, and so, like a good friend, Kanetsugu had told him some juicy stories.

Mitsunari made a mental note to get back at him somehow.

But right.

....he's thinking it's approaching storytime now, as he opens the door to their apartment and sets his bag aside.]

[.... oh. A-awwwwwww.]

... you're still cute.

he can totally return the favor with the flattery but he can hold off for now]

[And a snappy response--]

Wrong answer.

[:V not cute.]

[tokugawa]

[... fffff.

A laugh and he presses a kiss to Mitsunari's cheek before resting their foreheads together.]

... alright. You asked for it.

Perhaps not cute- but instead remarkably adorable. [a grin] But why stop there?

Mitsunari... you somehow manage to be charming and honest and witty and loyal all in the same breath. It's no wonder that you've managed to capture my heart completely that way.

I admire your workaholic tendencies because I can't deny that you have them- but your dedication is amazing. I love how much you're willing to do for other people... and it's in that way that you truly are spectacular.

[a soft kiss]

There's nothing about you that I'm not completely enamored with.

[insultea]

[...a-ah...

That wasn't the answer he was looking for either but now he's blushing faintly--

But he leans into the kiss.]

Mmn...

You are far too good to me, Ieyasu. You always have been.

[tokugawa]

[... ffff. He shakes his head.]

Were you not listening...?

You're the light of my life and the brightness to my days.

[chuuu~]

I think I'm allowed to be more than a little bit in love with you.

[insultea]

...I'm always listening.

[A quiet sigh, and he slides his fingers into Ieyasu's hair, pulling gently to hug his fiance close.

...]

You can be in love with me and still be too good to me.

The amount that you do for me is simply...staggering. I do not know if I express my gratitude often enough for it.

[tokugawa]

[... hm. Ieyasu settles for merely tightening his hold around Mitsunari and resting his chin on his shoulder.]

I... merely want to express my love for you.

I don't seek any of your gratitude, Mitsunari... [and he turns his head to press a kiss to Mitsunari's cheek] Just let me love you as much as I want to and understand it's because of how much I love you... and I'll be pleased.

[insultea]

[...mm.

And he lets out a quiet sigh.]

...Ah...very well.

But I will still always be grateful to you for it. For everything you do, I mean.

[tokugawa]

[A soft laugh and he claims a kiss from Mitsunari's lips.]

I enjoy every second with you-

So I'm grateful to you as well.

[insultea]

[He leans into the kiss, contentedly sliding his hands to rest around Ieyasu's neck again.

...ha.]

If that is so...then we continue to be even.

Ah--!

[He leans forward to press a gently kiss to Ieyasu's lips for a long moment--

And then he leans back again.]

Now we can be even.

[tokugawa]

[... ah. Ieyasu smiles at that before burying his face in the crook of Mitsunari's neck and placing soft kisses there.]

I do enjoy even.

[insultea]

[He shivers a little at those kisses, quite happy to allow his body to react to them.]

Mm...me too.

It always promises to keep things...

Interesting.

[tokugawa]

I can agree with that.

[and he might not even really know what Mitsunari's implying

too busy nuzzling his face into the crook of Mitsunari's neck

and a sigh]

You're warm.

[insultea]

[There's a quiet noise of agreement at that, even as he holds his fiance close.]

It's...the best sort of warmth.

[Somehow, Ieyasu manages to make him happier and happier--no matter what they are doing.]

[tokugawa]

[a soft smile and he sighs blissfully]

So this is love...

[insultea]

[...o-oh.

d-dokidoki.

His heart truly does skip a beat at that, and he's certain Ieyasu can feel it, as close as they are...

But he just smiles faintly and breathes in a deep, blissful breath.]

You know...I think you're right.

[tokugawa]

[There's only a slight chuckle at that before Ieyasu presses another kiss to Mitsunari's lips-

And then he tucks his arms beneath Mitsunari's knees and at his back to slowly rise from the couch and lift him up, not wanting to make their kiss unsteady.

When he breaks the kiss, he simply rests his forehead on Mitsunari's.]

Time for bed then, love of my life.

[insultea]

[Mitsunari is merely content in Ieyasu's arms, hands easily coming to rest on Ieyasu's chest as he cuddles up closer.

And a smile in return for that.]

Mm...Good idea. I hadn't realized it'd gotten so late...

[They'd been exchanging stories for quiet some time, then.]

[tokugawa]

[A soft smile.]

We should do this again another night.

[And he gently buries his face in Mitsunari's hair as he begins to walk toward their bedroom.]

[insultea]

[He just rests his head on Ieyasu's shoulder, voice dropping to a murmur as he relaxes.]

Mm...of course. But what would we talk about?

[He can't think of any more love stories--]

[tokugawa]

Life, love, laughter-

[He smiles as he presses a kiss to Mitsunari's cheek.]

Anything. Everything.

[insultea]

[...It sounds really, really nice, so Mitsunari just smiles up at Ieyasu in return.]

Good.

We'll have a lot of material to cover.

[He likes this idea a lot. There's a lot more of these nights in store for them.]

[tokugawa]

[Ieyasu very much enjoys it too, even as they make it to their bedroom and he sits down on the bed with his fiance back in his lap.

A brief kiss and he murmurs against Mitsunari's lips-]

I'll never get enough of you.

[insultea]

I hope not.

[He remains in that position, murmuring in return against Ieyasu's lips.]

Then we can stay like this forever.

[Forever never getting enough of each other. Forever in love.]
