fluff scenario

1. Sick day. You're down with the flu or some injury. Whatever the reason, you're bedridden or at the hospital. Aren't you lucky that that special someone came to visit you?

2. Date night. You've made special plans to show that special someone just how much you love them and nothing can go wrong tonight.

3. Cheer up. One or both of you is feeling down and it's time to get out of that slump by either finding a way to distract yourself or talking it out with the other person.

4. Love confession. Your stomach is doing flip flops and your heart is racing, but you've read all the signs right, and it's time to let that other person know you feel the same way.

5. Special gift. Maybe it's the first time, or maybe this is the gift that really counts. Birthday, Christmas, or just a random present, you've been planning and saving up for this one and are hoping that special person will like it.

6. Last time (for awhile). One of you is going away for some reason (it can be as simple or angsty as you want it to be) and you may be back or you may not, but you want to spend the time you've got left where you are with someone special.

7. Pillow talk. You've just had fantastic sex (which playing out is optional!) and you're both content to lay back and enjoy a little bit of pillow talk or maybe go for round two as soon as you catch your breath!

8. Shared dessert. Whether it's because you're both cheap or you're one of those cute, lovey-dovey couples who love sharing desserts, the two of you are sharing that delicious ice cream sundae or cake with one another. Did some of it get on your partner's nose? Or maybe you want to go ahead and take a bite out of the cookie sticking out of their mouth.

9. Need a friend. You just want to hang out with the guys/girls and have a little fun.

10. I'm sorry. You had a fight with someone and now it's time to kiss and make up. . . or at least make up.

11. A moment at home. There's nothing better than enjoying a peaceful day without anything to worry about. Maybe you'll share a book with a friend, or just enjoy some tea and catch up.

12. Been so long. You're back after a long trip somewhere and now it's time to meet up with someone you've missed a lot and make up for lost time!

13. I'll defend you until the end. You're going to fight for that person and you're going to let them know it or show them, whichever comes first.

14. Pillow fight. You're both feeling the need to have some friendly horseplaying, and what better way than with pillows?

15. Wild card. Reroll, pick an option, or come up with something else!



physical contact

1. Hugging. You just want to give your loved one a warm embrace. Be it out of happiness, to comfort them while they're down, or just to give them something warm to latch onto, you just want to wrap your arms around them.

2. Kissing. Whether it's a peck on the cheek or a deep kiss, a kiss good-bye or a romantic kiss, you find yourself compelled to kiss the other person! Be as tender or as passionate as you so choose.

3. Holding hands. It's a simple gesture, really -- to reach out and take someone's hand. But that one simple gesture can convey any number of sentiments. What the sentiment is is up to you, but you find yourself reaching out to take your significant other's hand.

4. Carrying. Is your loved one hurt and needs a lift? Do they want a piggyback ride? Or do you just want to spare them the effort of walking? Whatever the reason, you're now itching to pick up your partner and carry them to their destination (maybe even the bedroom).

5. Dancing. Kick up the music, because it's time to dance! But no lone dancing allowed -- you need to have a partner! You can do whatever dance strikes your fancy. Personally, I recommend the slow dance, but you can do whatever you want!

6. Massaging. Did your significant other have a rough day? Did they get hurt? Or do you just feel like doing something really nice for them? Whatever it is, you're giving them a nice massage now. They'll feel wonderful in no time!

7. Tickling. Does that special someone feel a little tense? Maybe they've been frowning a little too much late? Or maybe you're just feeling a little devilish. Give them a tickle and see what happens!

8. Cuddling. Sometimes there's just no better feeling than curling up next to each other on a warm sofa. Hold each other, lie next to each other, fall asleep on each other -- it's all good here.

9. Wild Card. Reroll, pick an option, or come up with something else!

[When she clings tighter to him, his heart swells.

He can feel how much she trusts him, how much she trusts him to keep her safe and make sure that she's never hurt again and he fully intends to make sure that's always, always the case.

So even when he's done spinning her about, he still holds her carefully in his arms, making sure that she's secure and letting her enjoy her gained height a bit more. He chuckles softly even as he buries his own face into her hair, ducking his head so that he can murmur into her ear-]

You're welcome. I'd do it all again for you. I'd do anything for you.

And... thank you for loving me.

[She sure is tall up here. The weather feels different-- okay no, but she truly is touched. Though she does feel she has to clarify one thing in all of that, smile and all, because honestly, he doesn't have to thank her for that at all.

After everything...]

...This is how everything is supposed to be.

[After everything, she is sure of this one thing. She experienced everything, after all--and all of those timelines were acceptable except toma, but this...

This feels right. And so, she thinks, it's only natural--]

Of course I love you.

'Of course'.... you say....

[Which just makes him laugh.

Because honestly, it's funny. Legitimately, there were entire worlds where they weren't supposed to be together. He didn't exist when she did. They were never, ever meant to be together and yet....

And yet here she is in his arms, telling him that their love is fact.

It's nice, he thinks.

That their life might be too right and therefore the universe couldn't handle having something so perfect.

So he laughs and sets her down on the ground again, though he does bend so that he's not too far from her.

But since he's in such a good mood, he can't help it. He kisses her cheek softly.]

I love you too. And I always will.

Because that's how it's supposed to be.

[She knows, of course. He's told her of this, and she saw the results firsthand. She's seen what it's like to be in a world that doesn't think you should exist.

But wishes, timelines and gods brought them together. In the end, after everything, this is where they are. She thinks it's rather fair to say "of course", as if that's how it's supposed to be. Because as far as she's concerned, that is how it's supposed to be.

The kiss does make her blush, as if clockwork, but she also smiles at him, reaching for his hand again.]

Mm... [and then she'll admit rather sheepishly--] I wanted to go to the railroad tracks next...

[Because that's where he confessed that he loved her, but... they kind of already got all of that out all at once here.]

[ . . . the admission makes him laugh gently.]

Mmn...? Do you want me to ask you out again properly?

[Because he knows what the railroad tracks mean. He remembers that day very well, being so nervous that his stomach was all tied up into knots and the butterflies were wreaking havoc all over-

But as soon as the train passed he asked her out and it was the best possible decision of his life.

Still, he can't help but smile and encourage her.]

We can go wherever you want.

[She doesn't remember it like that, honestly--she wishes she did. But she knows that that's where it was, and knows that that is also where he told her in this timeline that he was her lover, and so she thought it would have been fitting...

It's a little shyly that she admits--]

I...wanted to return the favor, actually...

[It's her turn to, she thinks--but again, they sort of got all of their confessions out of the way already.]

[Why is she so adorable though.

Honestly he can't really help it when he moves to hug her again, this time at least taking the steps forward and bending down to her level so that he can wrap his arms around her. All he wants right now is to keep his super cute girlfriend close and appreciate her just being there.

And also being so sweet that he can't really handle what his emotions are doing.]

You don't need to...

Just knowing that you want to makes me really happy.

[It seemed like a good idea at the time...

But she just looks a little surprised by the sudden surprise, though she returns the affection a moment later, expression melding into a smile. Of course he would say that... he seems to always be okay with that.

So it's in a tone that's torn between scolding and loving that she responds--]

...I don't ever want to sacrifice what you deserve again.

[She has been for who knows how long, unknowingly. So settling isn't okay.]

... I barely even deserve you, though.

[It's a quiet admittance, because honestly, he doesn't want to bring down their sweet moment with memories of what he's done in the past but... he still can't help but be honest.

Of all things, she's never sacrificed anything that he's deserved. If anything, he's sacrificed what she's deserved. He's sacrificed so many of her possible futures for the selfish dream of wanting to live himself, in a world that he never belonged to in the first place.

So to think that she would think it opposite...

He just buries his face further into her hair, inhaling and exhaling deeply as he just enjoys the feeling of being close.]

It's okay. Really, it's fine... because as long as I have you next to me, I won't give that up for anything.

[That much gets a pout, though he can't see it with his face buried in her hair. All she hears from him is things like this, and while she thinks it's sweet that he frets so much over what he did, she accepted it. She accepted the deaths. She accepted the other Ukyo.

And so now--]

This was my choice...and I think you deserve me, just as I deserve you.

[This is what she's decided she wanted. In the end, after knowing everything, the choice had been hers--and this is what she chose.

That much, she thinks, is irrefutable.]

[Honestly he wants to accept that, he really does. But the thing is....]

I feel like I really am getting the good end of the deal....

[Still though, he doesn't plan on letting her go - just as he promised. So he just continues to hold her close and appreciate her words, as unfair to her as he thinks they are. She deserves so much better, he knows that she does. And there are so many other options, so many other young men ready to love her that put him to shame.

And yet-]

... I love you, though. I promise I always will. I don't know if I how to not love you.

[...EXCUSE YOU MISTER she has been patient and patient and patient, but now she looks up at him with a bit of a pout on her face, eyebrows furrowed.]

You don't have to feel that way. This is what will make me happiest... please accept that.

[they're both getting the good end of the deal, okay. and she's enough of herself to Feel Strongly about her own decisions. (a bit of the self that would get into arguments with Kent over his understanding of people and Shin with his affection without warning.)

But her expression softens a moment later.]

[He's pretty used to being healthy. He's probably been sick before, but...well, he always dealt with it by hiding his sniffling and stifling his coughs and continuing on.

He's always been a workaholic, after all. And then he forgets about it, as if he's never been ill at all. So it takes him off-guard when he wakes up much later than usual and. Blinks blearily. Usually he'd already be out of bed by now, so he's trying to figure out what's going on here.

Okay, right that's Saya, that's normal... And there is sun streaming through the windows.... ... ...sun?

And then he sneezes.

...Ah.]

[straying]

[Gross as hell, to be honest. The sneeze wakes her up and she almost immediately makes a face before reaching over, complete with the lack of concern for personal space, and pressing the back of her hand to Matthew's forehead.

Her frown deepens and she sighs as she sits up and runs her fingers through her hair.]

You're sick. [A beat and she sighs.] You have really bad timing, Matthew.

[Can't you start being sick in the afternoon or something.]

[troublemaker]

No I'm not.

[Automatic reaction tbh.

And then he makes a face at the hoarseness of his own throat. Hold on. He clears it and then--]

No, I'm not.

[straying]

[ . . . snort.

She can't help but laugh a little bit at him and he reaches to grab his own hand and press it to his forehead.

Does he even feel anything, she doesn't know.]

Yeah, you are.

[troublemaker]

[He just makes a face at that. No, he doesn't want to be sick. Therefore, he must not be sick.

He sniffs.]

... You...could always be mistaken.

[straying]

[ . . . what a kid.

Still though, Saya's just shaking her head.]

Trust me, I wish I was.

[As is, she's already swinging her feet over the edge of the bed and stretching. Ah jeeze, she has to go find the medicine then, huh....]

[troublemaker]

[Well despite all of this...he's also going to move to get out of bed, because staying in bed even this late doesn't really appeal to him (and it isn't even that late).

And a huff, mostly of false annoyance.]

No need to sound so excited, you know.

[straying]

Physical injuries are one thing, but treating your health is another!

[ . . . are you for real though.

Saya just squints a bit before resting her hands on his shoulders familiarly and then just.

Pushing. Gently, admittedly, but definitely still pushing to get him back into bed.]

But no way are you getting your gross germs on more of our stuff. Under the covers with you!

[troublemaker]

[Are you for real-- okay no but really he just kind of frowns at that, even as he doesn't resist her pushing him to the bed because it's Saya. She'll get rougher if she has to.

... ... ...]

I don't sleep under the covers usually, though.

[now he's just being difficult.]

[straying]

Well you're gonna do it now!

[AND THAT'S FINAL.

It's so final that she's putting her hands on her hips and huffing about. The finality is so real.

Also she's gonna walk outside for a bit and retrieve a box of tissues from somewhere, your guess is as good as mine, Matthew probably keeps them stocked better than Saya does, and tosses it to him.]

Use these too.

[Wow that sure is final.

He flails and ducks and in general makes a big fuss about those tissues.

Even though it was a toss he could have easily caught.]

Ack...! Okay, okay, I'm getting under the blankets! There's no need to try to cause me bodily harm! [drama queen]

[straying]

[Total drama queen. So Saya responds by sticking her tongue out at him first because they're obviously adults here.

And then she's snickering.]

That's what I thought.

[okay right heading out of the room now-

how do you make chicken noodle soup again]

[troublemaker]

[wehhhh saya's leaving himmmmmm.

Okay no he just rolls his eyes and obediently crawls under the blankets because he really is cold. Now that she mentions it....well, now he notices.

Brr.

... .. .... ........ depending on how long she's gone, he might've started dozing off again.]
